The Queen is a South African TV Series that premiered on Mzansi Magic DSTV on August 1 2016. It is produced by Ferguson Films Company, owned by acting veterans Connie Ferguson and her husband Shona Ferguson, who also play two beautiful of the main roles in the series.

The show revolves around the Khoza family which is in the Cast, drug lords who hide their dealings behind their logistics company, their conflicts with their competitors and the Tembisa Police Service. Connie Ferguson plays the role of Harriet Khoza, the widow of a drug lord, while Shona Ferguson plays the police officer Jerry Maake.

From the begining of the series, Connie Ferguson, Shona Ferguson, Themba Ndaba, Sello Maake ka-Ncube, Mara Louw, Zandile Msutwana, Dineo Moeketsi, Loyiso MacDonald, Sthembiso Khoza and Natasha Thahane received star billing and were credited as the main cast. As of season 2, not all the main cast are billed in the title sequence. Mostly are not present in season 2.
